Albert P. Beutel 1914
Albert P. Beutel 1914 (d) was a Mining and Metallurgical major at the Case School of Applied Science. The Albert P. Beutel 1914 Endowed Scholarship Fund was established in 2001 by his son, Philip H. Beutel ‘41. This scholarship is used for undergraduate support of students in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at Case School of Engineering and Applied Sciences at College of Arts and Science. Beutel joined Dow Chemical Company in 1916 and is credited with creating Dow’s Gulf Coast operations, serving as General Manager of the Texas Division at the time of the division’s inception.
