Edward J. Buell Sr. 1917

The Buell Family Scholarship was established in 1975 by a major contribution from Edward J. Buell Sr. 1917 for students at Case Institute of Technology. Mr. Buell graduated from Case School of Applied Science with a major in mechanical engineering and was an active member of Theta Tau. He spent several years at The Niagara Wire Weaving Company, Limited of Canada and retired from Niagara as chairman of the board. The Buell Family has had two generations attend Case Institute of Technology: Edward J. Sr. 1917 was followed by his sons John B. Sr. ’52 and Edward J. Jr. ’50.
