Charles R. Horsburgh ’38 (d), Thomas P. Horsburgh 1914 (d), Robert G. Horsburgh 1914 (d), Donald F. Horsburgh ’40 (d) and Kenneth P. Horsburgh ’43 (d), all graduated with degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the Case School of Applied Science. The Horsburgh Family Scholarship Fund was established in 1976 through a contribution from the Horsburgh & Scott Company, a 110-year-old family-owned manufacturer of gears and enclosed drives for heavy industrial applications in the steel, coal, sugar, rubber and plastics markets.
