Coach William C. Sudeck
Coach William C. Sudeck (d) came to Case Institute of Technology in 1954 as head coach of cross-country and track, and assistant basketball coach to Philip K. “Nip” Heim. Nine years later, Heim stepped down and Sudeck moved to head coach of the basketball team as well. At the end of his career, over 45 years later, he still coached all three sports for men, and his energy and enthusiasm were unmatched. The William C. Sudeck Memorial Fund was established in 2001 and was created by family, friends, and former students.
