Frank Roodman '31

The Frank Roodman ’31 Scholarship Fund was established in 1990. Roodman (d) earned his B.S. degree in civil engineering at Case School of Applied Science. While an undergraduate, Frank pursued a number of different sports with talent and skill. He lettered in football, wrestling and basketball as well as gaining statewide recognition for twice being named the Ohio Collegiate Heavyweight Wrestling Champion. For his tremendous athletic feats, Roodman was inducted into the Case-Reserve Athletic Club Hall of Fame. Mr. Roodman enjoyed a successful and lengthy professional career with the Los Angeles-based Austin Company. Prior to his retirement, he had risen to become the vice-president and western U.S. district manager after serving the company in a variety of positions for over 35 years.
