George C. Graf 1923

The George C. Graf 1923 (d) Scholarship Fund was established in 1980 by a bequest from Mr. Graf in memory of his beloved mother, Mrs. Charles Graf. Mr. Graf graduated from Case School of Applied Science with a degree in electrical engineering. In 1925, Mr. Graf joined Leeds & Northrup Company in Germantown, Pennsylvania, and spent his entire professional career with this manufacturer of electrical measuring instruments, automatic controls and heat-treating furnaces. Mr. Graf had various interests in his spare time which included chess, freshwater fishing and singing with the famed Bach Festival Society, of which he was a board member. Throughout his career, Mr. Graf studied the many different manufacturing aspects of Leeds & Northrup and was valued for his several contributions to the firm and its growth.
