Gertrude Bicknell Harvey

The Gertrude Bicknell Harvey Memorial Scholarship Fund was established in 1982 by The Harvey Foundation and Mr. Arthur J. Harvey, Jr. ’30 in memory of his wife, Gertrude. Mrs. Harvey attended Lasell Junior College and the Kindergarten-Primary Training School. She taught pre-school children at the Western Reserve Nursery School prior to her marriage to Mr. A.J. Harvey Jr. in 1932. Mrs. Harvey had a sincere interest in the student recipients of The Harvey Family Scholarship and followed their pursuits and careers with curiosity and pleasure.
