Gordon B. Carson '31, PhD '57

Gordon B. Carson ‘31, PhD 57 (d) graduated with a Mechanical Engineering degree from the Case School of Applied Science. During his career, Carson was often concurrently, an educator, engineer, administrator, business executive, and inventor. He was an associate professor at Case Institute of Technology and was an executive for Western Electric, American Shipbuilding among other businesses. The Gordon B. Carson ‘31 Scholarship Fund was established in 2004. This scholarship provides undergraduate scholarships to rising juniors or seniors, with preference to students from Midland Michigan, attending the Case School of Engineering while pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering.
