Hugh D. Pallister, Jr. ‘35
Hugh D. Pallister, Jr. ‘35 (d) graduated from the Case School of Applied Science with a degree in Engineering. Hugh, Jr. served as an officer in World War II and later was director of purchasing at Western Reserve University. Active in many civic activities in Willoughby, he was a city councilman in Willoughby for twenty-four years and honored as ‘Distinguished Citizen of the Year’ in 1984. The Hugh D. Pallister, Sr. 1906 and Hugh D. Pallister, Jr. ‘35 Scholarship Fund was established in 2015 to provide scholarships for graduate students in geological sciences or earth sciences.
