I. Harold Stutz ‘49
I. Harold Stutz ‘49 (d) graduated from the Case Institute of Technology with a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering and a master’s degree in 1952 in Industry Engineering. He worked for General Electric’s Lamp Glass Division and Gould Incorporated, before buying Bowes Manufacturing in 1974. Stutz was also a key catalyst in the growth of his native Cleveland through his leadership in the Ohio Small Business Council and Council of Smaller Enterprises. In 1986, Mr. Stutz was a delegate to the White House Conference on Small Business. He was President of the Case Alumni Association from 1992-93. He received the CAA Meritorious Service Award in 1984. The I. Harold Stutz ‘49 Memorial Scholarship Endowment Fund was established in 2001.
