Jack L. Koenig
Jack L. Koenig (d) was a professor of Macromolecular Science and Chemistry at Case Institute of Technology and Case School of Engineering for over 35 years. He was world renowned for his research in Spectroscopic techniques in material properties. In honor of his 65th birthday in 1998, his former students as well as friends established the Professor Jack L. Koenig Endowed Spectroscopy Fund. Income from the Keonig Fund is awarded as an annual prize and supports the top graduate student in the Department of Macromolecular Science. He received numerous awards for his work and received the CAA Meritorious Service Award in 1998.
