John M. (Jack) Flynn '51, MS '53, PhD '56
John M. (Jack) Flynn ‘51, MS ‘53, PhD ‘56 (d) graduated from the Case Institute of Technology with a degree in Chemical Engineering, continuing his education with advanced degrees also focusing on Chemical Engineering. Flynn had a long and successful career with the Dow Chemical Corporation, holding several positions until ultimately he became vice president. Jack Flynn was vice president of Dow Chemical USA until his retirement in 1990. The John M. (Jack) Flynn ’51 Family Scholarship Fund was established in 1992 with a gift to the Case Alumni Association.
