John M. Kaufholz '43

The John M. Kaufholz ’43 Memorial Scholarship Fund was established in 1996 by Mrs. Jessie Kaufholz in honor and memory of her husband. John M. Kaufholz attended Case Institute of Technology for one year with the Class of 1943 before he transferred to Kenyon College where he received his A.B. Degree in Chemistry. He joined Diebold, Incorporated in Canton, Ohio where he served for 38 years before his retirement in May 1984. Although he attended CIT briefly, John was active in maintaining his ties to Case. He served as the president of the Canton Case Club of the Case Alumni Association. John was second in the Kaufholz family to attend Case; his father, Charles F. Kaufholz (a Class of 1901 graduate) attended Case School of Applied Science.
