John P. McLarty ’43
John P. McLarty ’43 (d) went to the Case School of Applied Science and studied Mechanical Engineering until he went to serve in World War II in the Army Air Corps as a B24 pilot in the 467th Bombardment Group. He then graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and was a practicing Engineer in Consulting Practice until his death. He was a member of the Consulting Engineers Council and a past President of the American Society of Heating and Refrigeration Air-Conditioning Engineers. The John P. McLarty Scholarship Fund was established in June 2007 with the intent to provide undergraduate scholarships.
