Kenneth W. Grader '37

The Kenneth W. Grader ’37 Memorial Scholarship Fund was established in 1989 by the K.W. Grader Foundation. Mr. Grader, an active member of Alpha Chi Sigma, graduated in 1937 with a degree in chemical engineering from Case School of Applied Science. Mr. Grader interrupted his promising career in industry to serve the U.S. Navy in World War II. Upon his return from the war, Mr. Grader was employed by Heim Process Equipment Company, a manufacturer of chemical-resistant tanks, jet-agitators and related products. He later held the position of president with Metalcoat Incorporated, Florida Metallizing and Florida Air Tool Corporation. With his extensive experience, Mr. Grader was recognized for his contributions and appointed to the Board of Directors of the United States Industrial Council.
