L. David Baldwin ‘49

L. David Baldwin ‘49 (d) received his degree in Physics from the Case Institute of Technology. He established multiple endowed funds in his lifetime, including the L. David Baldwin ‘49 Endowment Fund for Faculty Development and Equipment, the L. David Baldwin ‘49 Physics Laboratory Endowment Fund and the L. David Baldwin ‘49 Scholarship Fund. In the mid 1960’s Baldwin started Frequency Sources Inc. (FSI). The startup developed the technology for the microwave industry. At the time of his death in 2021, Baldwin was one of the largest donors in the history of Case Western Reserve University.
