Robert J. Adler, PhD

Robert J. Adler, PhD (d) joined the faculty of the Case Institute of Technology in 1959 as an assistant professor of Chemical Engineering. From 1963 -1973, he was chairman of the Chemical Engineering faculty. In 1972, he founded the Helipump Corporation, a research and development company and served on the board of the company until 1990. The Robert J. Adler Memorial Fund was established in 1992 to provide support for both an annual lectureship in chemical engineering and an undergraduate student prize in Dr. Adler’s name to recognize their outstanding achievements.
