Robert F. Hehemann, MS ‘49, PhD (d), majored in Metallurgy for both his masters and PhD at the Case Institute of Technology. The Robert F. Hehemann, MS ‘49, PhD Memorial Fund was established by friends of Hehemann in 1990 to be used for the strategic initiatives of the chairperson of the department of Materials Science and Engineering. He was a member of the CIT Metallurgy and Materials Science department for almost 40 years.
