The Martha and Carl R. Taylor Memorial Scholarship Fund was endowed by a gift from Robert T. Wise ’40 in memory of his aunt and uncle who supported his career goals and helped to fund his education. Mr. Wise, an active member of Zeta Psi, received his B.S. degree in mechanical engineering in 1940 from Case School of Applied Science. Mr. Wise enjoyed a varied and lengthy professional career with a variety of companies across the state of Ohio before he founded Big Drum Incorporated. The company, which is a manufacturer of machinery designed for producing ice cream cones, was bought by Nestle Drumstick Company and is now a national leader in its market.
