Roy G. “Dutch” Harley ‘36
Roy G. “Dutch” Harley ‘36 (d) graduated from the Case School of Applied Science with a degree in Civil Engineering. Dutch served in the Navy during WWII with the SeaBees in North Africa and Southern France. After his return he joined the Albert M. Higley Co, founded by Albert Higley, Sr., CSAS 1917. He rose through the ranks at Higley Co, from construction superintendent to general superintendent to VP to president of the company. The Higley-Harley Scholarship Fund was established in 2006 to provide undergraduate scholarships to rising juniors or seniors majoring in Civil and Environmental Engineering.
