Sol A. Ross '44
The Sol A. Ross ’44 Memorial Scholarship Fund was established in 1977 through a bequest from Sol A. Ross. Ross, an active member of ASME, received his B.S. in mechanical engineering from Case School of Applied Science in 1944. His professional career was rich and varied, ranging from his first position working for the government committees, which were the predecessors to NASA, to his lengthy and successful employment as an aeronautical engineer for the United States Department of Defense assigned to Gould Incorporated.
