Steve Fossi '78

Steve Fossi ’78 was in the first group of students to receive the Case Alumni Merit Scholarships in 1974. He graduated from Case in 1978 with a BSEE degree and joined the Hewlett-Packard company in Santa Rosa, CA. He stayed with HP and its spinoffs, Agilent Technologies and Keysight Technologies, for 30 years, ultimately serving as Vice President and General Manager of two different operating divisions of the company. His career highlights included working in Amsterdam, Netherlands, for two years, being in a Harvard Business School case study as part of a management team that executed a business turnaround, and leading a new business from zero sales to over $100M/yr. in revenue. Later in his career he spent 10 years in the field of atomic clocks. The Denise M. and Stephen A. Fossi ’78 Scholarship Fund was established by Denise and Stephen Fossi in 2026 to provide support for undergraduate scholarships for engineering students.
