Theron D. Stay 1914
Theron D. Stay 1914 (d) graduated from the Case School of Applied Science with a degree in Metallurgy.. After graduating, Stay was first employed by the Aluminum Company of America from 1916 until 1944 in a number of different capacities. In 1961, he joined Reynolds Metals Company as an assistant to the president. He continued to work closely with the company as a consultant after his retirement in 1982. The Theron D. and Florence Finley Stay 1914 Scholarship Fund was established in 1983 by Dr. Cynthia Swain and Dr. Stephen B. Edge at the time of their wedding in honor of the beloved grandparents of Dr. Swain. The scholarship provides scholarship support to undergraduate students studying Metallurgy and Materials Science.
