William J. Voss ‘43

William J. Voss ‘43 (d) graduated from Case School of Applied Science with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Following school, he worked at the National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics (predecessor to NASA), the Perfection Stove Company of Cleveland, and the Norman W. Calvert Company. In 1951, Mr. Voss began designing industrial couplings and opened Voss Industries as a small Cleveland manufacturing firm. By 1961, Voss Industries was incorporated and expanded to include Voss Clamp Technology, Voss Aerospace, Heat Exchange Applied Technology, and Voss Finned Tube Products. The William J. Voss ‘43 Endowed Memorial Fund was established 1997 to provide scholarship support to students studying Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering.
